Cat proved manifold that she can be trusted and relied on so Kara should just tell her out of respect for that if nothing else.

And then Cat would just wave her off and send her on some errand, rolling her eyes at Kara for thinking she didn't know

I like that idea. It should be Kara who tells her this time around. I don't see Cat being first to say she knows out of respect to Supergirl's identity.

I just got this idea, I'd love with whatever they make Kara's promotion be like what she does with it. To see Cat needing her help on something

Agreed. I do think there's a good chance Cat has figured it out, but I'd like Kara to tell her as opposed to Cat admitting it.

What did she actual do to deserve it? Especially if Kara doesn't think Cat actually knows she is Supergirl. Will Kara begin to wonder if Cat knows??

She did save Cat's job, but that was so long ago, and it wasn't just her. Other than that, Kara's pretty much never at her desk, so in a way it's surprising that she's not questioning why she hasn't been fired, let alone why she's been promoted
