Calista is notoriously selective with the projects she picks (because she can afford to be), so the fact that she reached out to Greg and the rest of the producers herself says a TON about how strongly she was impacted by the premise.

I am curious if we will see more Cat outside the office. Given her reduced role - seems that may not happen. Like I just want to see where she lives and get a sense of what she goes home too.

I'd like to see her outside of th office too... we saw her literally being thrown out off the office by virus infected Kara that was scary

I know right. And the one time she does she is thrown out a window. Scary indeed.

The only time she was EVER outside the office was dinner with her son. And that was the only time she was not in danger or attacked.

Catco will have to be burnt to the ground for miss grant to leave the office more. (kidding)

that scene was an actual scene in Lois and clark.... the Real Lex Luthors son had a bomb under the Daily planet building--- superman froze Lois so she could be safe and then the decoy Luthor [bus boy] shot the Luthors son

I didn't care for it a whole lot.... Lois could have been killed or brain dead/ hearing loss anytime during the last part of that story

That's alright. I still haven't rewatched season 4 or got the dvd or even seen the entire series in full. But you got to admit the chemistry between Dean and Teri was the best part of the show and L&C were awesome.
