It will be interesting to see if Kara and Brainy will butt heads now that he's in charge of the DEO. I know she & Alex disagreed sometimes, but they had a different dynamic. It's going to be especially tense if he's taking orders from Lex that she doesn't like-- however, being the DEO director and answering directly to Lex is a good excuse for him to say he's trying to stay on Lex's good side. They may view him as sort of a double agent. At least, I hope they don't take issue with it if he's spotted talking to Lex.

In the next episode it looks like he's going to be interacting with Andrea a bit.

I think she's kind of "on-call", so to speak. Also, Lex probably would hold her secret identity over her head if she refused.

Good point. I remember when he spoke in to her recording device. That was the closest he's come to threatening to reveal her secret thus far. I think he doesn't want to piss her off too much though, bc he wants that element of control & she & her friends can still be useful to him.

This got posted in another thread. From what I can see from Meaghan's Instagram, it seems Hawaii 5-O has ended. I saw comments about one of the leads having back problems & needing to quit for his health. That's a shame for all involved, but it does free Meaghan up to make more appearances & to spend more quality time with her brother.

I'm excited we get Female!Brainy back at the end of the season. I'm thinking he "talks" to her (she did say she'd still be with him, even though she's no longer corporeal).

Maybe we'll see her pop up more in Season 6. I can picture Brainy kind of "communing" with her in the Big Brain when he needs advice or something, since being "uninhibited" is new for him.

I can definitely see him talking to her to get some advice and/or emotional support. She could either be in the VR image thingy with the lenses, or in his mind palace (or whatever they call it), or she could project herself as a hologram.

He looks rather pale compared to her, but I think it's because she has a tan from being in the sun, but I do wonder if they did makeup to make him a little bit paler or if it's just that he doesn't get as much sun in Vancouver.

She's spent the last few years filming in Hawaii, so that's probably why Meaghan looks darker. Since Hawaii 5-0 has ended, I'm hoping Supergirl signs her as "recurring".

Here's an interview with Jesse from earlier this week. Jesse has since cancelled his appearance at the con they're talking about (I'm guessing they're trying to get some extra filming in for Supergirl Season 5 before they start shooting Season 6):

I heard there were some cases of Covid-19 in Vancouver, but it could just be rumors. A lot of places are straight up canceling events that call for people to assemble en masse indoors. His sister was wearing a flimsy dust mask on a flight (not sure if it was a joke or what, but it was a useless mask that wouldn't keep anything in or out). I could see people canceling if they are concerned about it spreading. Many schools in Washington have shut down to try to limit the spread.
I'm hoping it will be kept under control & not spread too far in Canada.
Filming extra scenes for season 6 ahead of time is a good idea (if that's what they are doing). It's going to be interesting to see how they hide Melissa's pregnancy- unless they pull a dream sequence & show her belly ala Scully on X-Files for some scenes.
I would LOVE for them to pick up Meaghan as a regular/recurring character. I'd rather have them ditch William & give more screentime to Nia and Kelly as well. Nothing against the actor, but the writing for his character isn't great & I have no interest in him. I agree with someone who did a review who said he had more chemistry with a photo of his missing friend than he did with Kara. LOL.
I would like to see if Brainy being director of the DEO changes any of his interactions with Nia going forward. I think he's trying to avoid her to not rub salt in the wounds, but I hope they have some sort of good conversation at some point.

There are about 57 cases of Covid-19 in Canada, mostly in Ontario and BC.

The con itself wasn't cancelled, Jesse just cancelled his appearance (as far as I know).

As for filming around Melissa's pregnancy: Jesse mentioned there was only going to be a few weeks turnaround from the end of S5 to filming the beginning of S6 at another con a few weeks ago.

Assuming the filming will go until middle or end of June, they should have most of the first batch of episodes done.

Yeah, I figured some of the guests might be canceling because of the whole mess. Even if they aren't worried about getting something at the con, there's the travel to the con. Even without Covid-19, it's still a risk with the flu and other bugs out there.

Ah, so they are going to end this season & then start filming season 6 shortly thereafter and likely end filming early or take a hiatus when she needs. That makes sense. Hopefully everything will go smoothly for her.

StLavin, I hope so. I mean, I don't want to deprive the actor of the job, but the way they wrote the character is just so unappealing. It's insulting to me that they give him more screentime than Nia and Kelly who have been there longer & have better arcs.
