Although she may be gone from the series,Laura and Melissa now have a connection: they've both appeared on Broadway, and they both have caricatures hanging on the walls of Sardi's Restaurant in New York.

So uh... Do we know anything about her character in season 4? Is she even coming back? It'd be stupid to show her alive and well and not include her into the story.. Kara isn't someone who'd not want to see and talk to her mom who she missed for so long.
