- Lex, the actual hero? Don't think so. Bye bye, Margot.
- Lillian is talking sense … for a villain. I have a feeling that trying to tear apart Kara and Lena's friendship is going to be Lex's downfall. He's getting too distracted. - Eve's a badass now. Cool. - So, it was Lex trapping the tinfoil people in VR, not Leviathan? - Well, damn. Lex totally set up Jeremiah to be killed by Eve. - Wait, why is Lena suddenly acting like she cares about Kara? Especially when we didn’t see anything indicating she would have any sympathy for Kara’s loss? Oh, nevermind. Lena’s back on her whiny BS again. Figures. Shut up, Lena. Kara using Myriad to find missing people lost in VR isn’t the same as YOU using it to mind control the whole planet. You have no place to start crying about Kara being a big ol’ meanie who won’t share her toys with you. - What is this "put on your VR lenses so you can ignore this big terrible thing happening and NOT run for safety" crap? I mean, who does that?! - Gemma’s “true form” is kind of awesome. - Great directing job from Melissa. - Good episode… but I think after this season, it’s time to move faaaaaar away from the Luthor family. It's been a season and a half now (the end of S4 was all about the Luthors too). Maybe they can move on to the Brainiac family instead. Wouldn't Querl coming face-to-face with his sociopath of a mother (whose darkness he admits he shares) be far more interesting than Lena constantly moaning about Kara keeping her secret identity from her? __________________

I think that Lex threatening Eve's mother will backfire.
Lillian was making so much more sense. I wish Lex had listened to her. I hope Brainy saw through Lex & his "scout's honor" bs. Also, why did Lena not even think that Lex would trace the watch's last port? I guess she was too upset. I agree that Gemma's form was cool. I also agree that people putting in lenses instead of seeking safety was idiotic. I mean, I've encountered some stupid people before, but WTF? So the plan is to get everyone in to VR and kill them? Ok.... Why? If they were worried about humans damaging the planet, why would they do things that damage the planet & kill tons of animals and plants too? It makes no sense. I'm looking forward to seeing Mitch Pileggi again. I'm also hoping that Brainy is just pretending to be fooled by Lex. I hope he doesn't touch whatever it was that Lex put on his desk. He should have someone else remove it & not let it stay near him. It's either a bomb, a bug/camera, or something that could harm him. Brainy should know it can't be trusted. I'm also wanting to see some of Brainy's family next season. I'd like to find out whatever happened to his father. I'd love for the actors who played his parents on Defiance to play his parents on Supergirl. I wonder why Supergirl didn't set the fortress to fend off Lex when she returned because she knows he's a bad guy. You'd think she would have updated her security protocols after the world rebooted. |

Hopefully. Lex is basically responsible for Jeremiah's death. I knew Lex was going to show his cards eventually to Eve, and I'm like, oh honey, this man is totally incapable of love. We're nearly to the end of the season and we still don't know what is Leviathon's plan? I watched the whole episode, but I still missed it. What is their ultimate goal? __________________

Apparently, Leviathan's goal is just to kill everyone in VR? I don't know. It makes no sense. I'm starting to wonder if the writers took whatever story they had planned for Leviathan and gave it to Lex instead. __________________

This Kara/Lena endless fight is exhausting. I feel that it has been the same for the last few seasons

I know Lena shouldn't trust Lex, Lex manipulates and lies and yet Lena trusts him.

This is the face of a 12th Level intellect who is 100% done with Lex's BS: Brainy knows Lex is a lying liar who lies, but the only way to stop him is to let Lex think he's still on his side. Brainy is well aware that Lex is 1) trying to manipulate him and 2) Blatantly putting people in danger and playing innocent. Also... if Brainy doesn't get suspicious of the "gift" Lex gave him, and it turns out to actually BE something, I'll be really disappointed in this show. __________________

Brainy should know the gift is not sincere or safe *especially* since he did the same thing himself with Winn (except it was just a sort of nannycam & wasn't done out of malice). I wish that Brainy would use some future tech to spy on Lex w/o Lex knowing & find out what he's up to. I think it would be hilarious if he knocked Lex out, used the image inducer to look like him, mimicked his voice, & got Gemma to take him to Leviathan's ship so he can plant the program (but he would have tweaked the program himself to neutralize them rather than kill them). One thing I did like with the interaction is that Brainy talked to Lex as if he were a subordinate. I truly hope that when Lex mentioned Supergirl's fortress that Brainy picked up that Lex wanted access to it & was giving away his goal (perhaps through hubris thinking Brainy wouldn't figure it out, or a way of taunting him). If Lex can have cameras all over & spy on people, why can't Brainy? He would have knowledge of much more sophisticated tech. I also hope that he actually talks to Lena & lets her know that using Myriad was pretty much Lex's suggestion. |

I just watched this episode. It did show Eve's naivety certainly about Lex. Geez. It's not looking like she's going to have a happy ending.
