Synopsis:

When a new threat emerges in National City, Kara/Supergirl teams up with her cousin, Clark Kent/Superman, to stop it. Kara is thrilled to have family in town but it leaves Alex feeling a bit left out. Meanwhile, Hank and Supergirl are stunned by the pod that came crashing to Earth.

If I was Supergirl, I might think he's from Krypton as well.

Aww James and Kara going on their first date and Kara is so happy about it.

Alex doesn't seem too okay with it... and it's because she sees through Kara being super excited. lol

Kara isn't Cat's assistant anymore.

I forgot about that...

Clark acting clumsy and chatting with Perry White. lol Of course he's pulling off his dual identity perfectly.

The iconic rip shirt right from the beginning.

Awesome Supergirl and Superman working together.

Seems like a job for Supergirl and Superman.

Aww Kara is so excited.

and it's nice to see how much they are alike.

they both stop to say hi to the fans sometimes and they really love working together.

Dang Superman being here is like the biggest thing! as it should be.

Great job writers.

Winn is having a fanover moment.

Sadly, Manhunter doesn't seem happy to see him.

Two of my favorite characters who doesn't get along.

Clark being a klutz.

The one in the elevator was real though. lol

James and Kara breaking up before they really started.

I don't think I like this development.

What was the reason to even put them together then after all the Season 1 development? new network means they can't date?

I like this Kara and Cat scene.

Nice! Kara saving James.

I love seeing Alex get in with the fight.

She was just being a total kicka$$.

Oh no.

Oh Lena killed.... and Superman and Supergirl worked well together.

Nice Lena and Clark scene.

He apologizes for being wrong about her.... well hopefully he was.

Finally Kara made her decision! Kara wants to be a reporter, so basically she's following Clark's footsteps.

I loved how Cat knew instantly that Kara would become a reporter.

They always share such great scenes.

Cat can see the hero in Kara.

and Kara inspires Kare.

I dislike the way Kara/James was handled.

You can definitely see the network change during the scene.

I really have no one in mind but I hope for great chemistry with Tyler, for whoever is happy.

My favorite alltime pairing! so it better be a good cast as Superman was.

I loved that the Supergirl writers made the Alex/Clark relationship the way it was. lol Besides Smallville, Alex is usually always pushing up on Clark.

I was a bit surprised to see it happen with Supergirl but loved the scenes!

I get so spoiled as a Clark/Lois fan and I am so happy.

• I love Winn working at the DEO. Does he get his own black outfit now? And of course he's asking that all-important question on the audience’s behalf: Why does Clark look the same age as Kara

• Cat’s new assistant was a nod to Lex Luthor’s assistant in the Superman movies (the originals). She even did the Luthor shout! “Miss Tessmacherrrrrrrrr!”

• Kara: I used to change his diapers
Clark: You didn't have to tell them that
Kara: Yes I did

This is totally me and my younger cousin (who's changing diapers for his own baby now), so I completely connected with the Kara/Clark relationship dynamic

• So Clark is with Lois… and she possibly knows about his secret identity. Yay! My DC Comics OTP is alive and well

• Morgana has an American accent! It sounds so weird…

• I wasn’t a huge ~~Jimmy~~ James/Kara shipper (I thought it was too much “love at first sight” and wanted a slower build), but I don’t get why Kara suddenly decided they were better as friends.

I mean, saying something like “I want to work on me now, so I’m not ready for a relationship yet” would make sense, but this was kind of… odd.

Awesome advice, and she really needed it. She knows how to be Supergirl, now she needs to figure out the Kara part. I think she had Kara figured out before she was Supergirl, but being Supergirl changed Kara, if that makes sense.

Pretty much. New network that likes to drag out the romance. At least the way they went about it wasn't ridiculously contrived. It made sense and it was a great moment for Kara. Plus James didn't make his feelings her problem, which is also very important. I thought I would be rolling my eyes and the predictable CW direction, but I'm not

Has to be very specific casting, because she doesn't just have to fit well with Tyler, she also needs to fit with Jenna. Also Jenna needs to come back, I am in need of Lucy Lane, ~~as is Kara~~.
