I need to watch the episode again but I think they were in the town looking for the egg and when they found it they ended in the cocoons, but I don't know how Eva ended up there, I don't remember her touching the egg

I think it's because he's mentally ill. He can't stop being the guy who locked Angie up in three weeks and I wasn't surprised that he wanted to kill himself. I think he just wants attention, love and approval so bad that he'll take whatever crumbs anyone throws at him. I don't know if Melanie actually cared or not, but if she did, it was just her. He burned down his house in the AR because he's unstable. It's cray cray to do that and he's supposed to be crazy in the novella. Christine can manipulate him because he's so depressed. A world where he actually counts has too much meaning for him to let go.

I think Joe can resist because he wasn't happy in the other reality. He also has to watch Norrie be OOC and she rejected him.

It sucks because she's getting screwed over twice. Barbie will fight once something is off and Julia can make him snap out of it. She'll be stuck watching them be happy and she has to explain herself when BJ exposes them. I seriously doubt she grasps just what she was searching for. Yes, the egg is obviously supernatural, but even after what she went through, she doesn't seem to question wtf she's gotten herself into. I hope she becomes useful like Rebecca and she's not just part of a triangle.

I think that Norrie should care more than she does. It's almost as if Joe's feelings no longer matter at all. She's too distracted by Hunter's hotness to act like a decent human being. The way she was about Andrea's body was disgusting.

Poor Junior-I want to give him a hug. He got to be happy for 5 seconds and now he's back to square one. Seeing him functioning in the AR was nice.


I think they were in the area when the dome came there and found the egg soon after Joe and Norrie did. It's the only explanation I can come up with.

Eva is unlucky, imo. Yes, she's seen the egg do insane things, but she's not crazy. Christine touched the egg, so she's evil now. Eva is stuck in the middle somewhere-She knows more about the egg than she lets on, but she's also being manipulated left and right.

Junior did it because he's nuts. I heart him,but no one needs therapy more than him. I'm glad he's not as psycho as he is in the novella,but he's unstable. Angie was able to play and control him to a degree because she knew his weak spots. Plus, he killed two people in cold blood 2-3 weeks ago.

I think they both will once she's fully aware of what's going on and help him. I don't think it will all be that simply done and he will understand her side (especially having had empathy regarding Melanie regardless of what the town thought) knowing who the mastermind truly is. Eva didn't trick him when it came to what they both experienced (she was still trying to figure it out herself) and isn't trying to now. Rebecca was just an unnecessary character for several reasons who didn't fit, JMO. I don't doubt there will be much more to her character and things that will be learned about her. I also think she might be paired with Junior (with Melanie no longer in his life) later on in the season.

I think it's beyond clear that Norrie only cares about herself. She's had selfishness from the beginning.

I know. Yeah. I think he could gain a real friendship with Eva.

I watched the episode again and I get why Christine ended up in the cocoon, she touched the egg but Eva never really touch it, apparently so how come she ended up in the cocoons at the time ?

I watched this last night.

Has it really only been three weeks since the dome went down? I feel like it had been three weeks at the start of season 2. They should be on a least a month by now.

That makes sense. I think Christine cocooned Eva-I can't think of any other reason why she'd be in there. I suppose it's possible that Melanie did it, but it's not as likely.

I just want Junior to be happy. It seems to me that no one in his life seems to care about the fact that he's obviously unwell. BJ is the crappiest father ever, Angie manipulated him and the only person who did care could have been pretending as well.

Norrie is a bad girl, so selfishness is part of it. I don't get why she liked being in a sorority-It's not her in any way, shape or form. I get why she's attracted to Hunter, but the sorority thing was just dumb. Maybe it's why Melanie set it up so Joe and Norrie broke up. She never liked Norrie and probably thought she was doing Joe a favor.

That's what I would assume. So Eva and Christine found the egg AFTER the dome came down? but nobody knew they were there? OR did they touch the egg while the egg was on the outside?

I think they found the egg and the Dome came down in that moment. sort of like the Dome found its Queen
which is a bit scary because like Melanie said she found the egg first 25 years ago, but she died and the egg didn't have time to do the download? well thats what Christine said.

in a way Sam saved the town back then, Melanie was going to be in Queen cocoon.

I think thats the solution kill Queen Alien.

I agree. It's an absolute shame.

She's a sickening character (JMO) and a lot of what she does is unnecessary but she just does it because she can and will get away with most of it. It was just ridiculous and made no sense. You don't have to be in a sorority to have a better attitude and be a better person. Probably.
