I'm kind of behind on plane news so I'm not sure about the black box, I think I read they were maybe looking for it specifically right now because the pinging is due to stop soon.

I was reading somewhere else on fan forum and someone was complaining about not having anything to talk about now that their show was on hiatus and all that. That show has only been on break since January. Oh those silly people, if they only knew right?

 But still, we're a piece of cake next to the Sherlock board... two years between series and then only 3 episodes. Impossible!  Both the mods quit within the past month or so and I can't blame them. Tons of people came in during January for the 3 new episodes, then disappeared again.  __________________

Is there a different set of rules for shows that aren't traditional 22 episode seasons? You think there would be, because honestly even the most buzzed about show can only be discussed and dissected so much.

No, there's no special treatment for short-season shows. I wish there was. Especially for highest-quality TV like Sherlock.
I don't think it can maintain viability if there's another 2-year gap to the next series. The board is so rich, it will be a shame to lose it. __________________

The majority of people are only gonna post about something while it's on air. It would be impossible to maintain for 2 years for sure. I guess people could play games of tic tac toe over and over?
