What was your favorite part of the premiere? (since that was all that has aired so far)

My favorite part was definitely the beginning with Lucifer and Amenadiel looking for their mom :lol: It was so funny and I love seeing them work together.

That gifset is so great, I love the colors!

I find the show boring now. It is a procedural, but does not commit to that, and every case solve is basically the same. It's not clever or witty, Lucifer asks the same question... They also milk that "she doesn't know, but she might figure out" thing way too much, especially since Lucifer could simply show her his real face. This should could have been so much better. I'll probably still binge watch season 2 at some point, but the premise got very old, very quickly. You guys probably don't agree with me, sorry for the negative opinion, but I'm disappointed, becasue the show has such strong aspects otherwise.

I think the show is actually trying to shift away from the procedural format this season. This last episode had a very straight forward case as the side plot and Lucifer was focused on other things, specifically the "myth arc" of the show. I think they are trying to move more towards that with "Mum" coming to stay and the mysteries about "Dad" and what he actually wants.

So now we know where the season is going! At first, it did look like it's lost its touch, but now I can see it was all a set up for a darker Lucifer. Chloe (or possibly his mum) will probably get him out of it eventually, but it can only be all downhill for him for a while!

I can definitely say I'm enjoying this season more because even though they're still dealing with cases, it's way more focused on the characters and what they're going through.

^ This. I agree 100%, last season while good didn't concentrate too much on the characters but this one has been full pack with character interaction and development from the beginning.

I agree. I like that the case itself is taking a backseat to everything else.
