No problem

I'm sneaking in posts at work  How's your day?

Cadenf 04-19-2017 07:02 PM

Thanks for the new thread! :)

Hi Cathy!

Oh Tar, never change

I had a nice day, I think I'm finally starting to understand A&P.

Cadenf 04-20-2017 07:47 AM

Glad you hear you are starting to understand it, that sure makes things easier!

I have a really busy day today. But I am being lazy now instead of getting ready to head to the gym.

Jared ❤︎ Jensen 04-21-2017 12:25 AM

Half the workout of a workout is getting the motivation to go workout

I feel so happy I had a really productive day today, got almost all the things in my to-list done, and managed to squeeze in two quick yoga sessions :yay:

Cadenf 04-21-2017 09:48 AM

Oh I agree...starting it is the hardest part actually. 2 yoga sessions, I am impressed!

Jared ❤︎ Jensen 04-22-2017 12:39 AM

They were short ones but yoga always makes me feel so good afterwards.

Cadenf 04-22-2017 07:44 AM

My dentist suggested I start some yoga to help my back. But I am so NOT flexible.

Jared ❤︎ Jensen 04-22-2017 11:56 PM

Neither am I  But that's the great thing about yoga it helps improve your flexibility! I'm with your dentist on this one I think you should check it out.

Cadenf 04-23-2017 07:53 AM

Okay, help me with it...where do I start? Is there a youtube video or netflix or something?

Jared ❤︎ Jensen 04-23-2017 12:23 PM

First thing first, a yoga mat, it'll help protect you from the hard ground and so you don't slip and slide everywhere.

As for starting, there are yoga studios that offer a variety of classes, but if you prefer a home practice there are lots of youtube videos for different levels. The ones that I do and the only ones I've found that are actually beginner friendly are the ones by Yoga with Adriene. I love her, she has a variety of beginner videos, a foundations series to help you understand different poses, different length practices, practices that target different things, and I'd say a good number of her videos that aren't in the beginner category are still beginner friendly.

This is a link to her channel and a link to her beginner playlist

Now she is my personal favorite but everybody is at a different point in their practice and everybody has a different teaching personality they like so while I highly recommend checking out her videos, I also encourage you to search yoga for beginners on youtube and finding what fits best for you.

Feels good being back home even though I had a blast on my trip. I'll do a proper round tomorrow 'cause I'm exhausted, it was almost a 5 hour ride to get back :thud:

Tar! :back_hug: Welcome back!
