If Eve & Maze do eventually get together it's gonna be a very odd dynamic.

Maze is Eves ex-husbands first wife's daughter.

Strange thing to bond over, dislike of Lilith on a personal level.

I think they have more than that in common though like they both know what it's like to be underappreciated by the men in their life and how difficult it is to adapt to the human world, cause Eve while a human is not normal she has knowledge and a close connection to the supernatural, and the struggles of learning who one is as an independent being not as somebody's right-hand demon or wife.

Oh definitely. They got on so well together when they were having the practice date in Lux.

It just intrigues me slightly that they both have the connection to Lilith as well. Another thing for them to bind over.

That is an interesting aspect :nod: I wonder if they could give each other a deeper understanding of who Lilith is/was, Maze only knows Lilith as the neglectful mother while Eve only knows her as the "perfect" 1st wife her husband pined over maybe Maze could help Eve understand/realize that Lilith wasn't perfect and Eve give Maze knowledge of who her mother was as a being. Don't know if I made any sense.

I make no secret of the fact that I would love for Maze to get a girlfriend, and that I think it would be perfectly in line with the show's message about the transformative power of love for her to get a soul (if such is possible within the current bounds) but I'm freaked out by Eve's propensity to cause trouble. Maze is a bounty hunter lol can you imagine how much trouble she could get Maze into? Also we saw with Lucifer that her urge to accept people can lead to them backsliding.
While I love the potential of Meve, I hope Eve (if she comes back) gets a little more careful before that can happen, hehe.

Yes. Definitely. I really hope she truly 'finds herself' or whatever so she has a better sense of self before she returns.

Agreed, she needs to discover who she is before she can enter any sort of healthy relationship

I think Maze and Eve would be perfect for each other! I hope they get together eventually. I LOVED how Maze sang that song for Eve. It broke my heart when Eve didn't get the message, poor Maze. I'm glad she did by the end of the season though.

That (Eve not getting the message) was so sad! I really felt for Maze pining away; I'm glad that Eve understood at the end too :nod: And as much as I would have liked them to end up together I'm glad Eve realized she needs to find herself before she enters into a relationship

Wow. That ending. What a ride with these two. But I think it's best that Eve goes away for now to figure out who she is not in relation to Adam or Lucifer. But to herself.

And Maze deserves someone who wants her.

If Eve does return, and Maze/Eve happens, it'll be because Eve let go of the boys and realized she can truly be herself with Maze.

It really is for the best that she left, it wouldn't have been fair to her or to Maze for her to have stayed and started a relationship.
