As for the promo for next week, I think they're definitely teasing us. They could be undercover but it could also be her "flirting" with him or maybe a dream but I doubt it's an actual kiss.

Also the song that Chloe & Lucifer was playing was a romantic song. So I do wonder if they were foreshadowing their relationship. In a similiar matter Knocking on Heaven's door was used for the priest. Of course, Lucifer started to play it as well.

That scene was so amazing. I like it that she actually left her conversation with Dan which was supposed to be around rekindling their romance to see Lucifer and be there for him. She couldn't think of anything else.

Dan seemed to have issues of his own to deal with, so I think both weren't into it. Of course, Dan would continue to have issues at least until the Malcolm matter is solved, while Chloe was trying to comfort a friend.

I think the song can be looked at as both a foreshadowing of the Lucifer/Chloe relationship and as insight into their possible feelings for one another. In a similar way Knocking on Heavens Door can be seen as foreshadowing to what happened to the priest (death) and as insight into Lucifer's feelings towards his father and their relationship after Lucifer's fall.

I've seen a theory that the song Knocking on Heavens Door is referencing Lucifer's death. I mean he would probably come back in S2 if the theory is correct.

It's an interesting theory but I doubt it's correct. And if it was correct then you're right he would be back by S2. Can't exactly have a show called Lucifer without well Lucifer.

Although if Lucifer is becoming mortal and other humans can hurt him, I can see him having a near death experience.

I guess Lucifer dying is always possible since it's a supernatural show and he's, well, Lucifer, so coming back would be "realistic" because it's not like he's in a normal circle you life you know?
