Wow, slow start to this lovely new thread.

I apologize that I haven't participated for a while.
I am watching the show with my best friend and as she has a life unlike me, it took several weeks for me to get through season 4 and then I got occupied with the Lucifer FB fan page and Lucifer fanfiction.

Those last three episodes of season 4...such brilliance!

She's enjoying it.

My mom has started watching it as well. Last I was aware she was just about done with season 4.
I think some of the humor is a bit ridiculous for her and Lucifer's emotional dodging really annoyed her in season 3 but she's liking it well enough.

Seriously when Fox canceled the show I was initially really upset but now I'm glad they canceled it because honestly Netflix did a much better job, S4 was the best season so far!

and the last few eps were brilliant

and all those Deckerstar moments really tugged at my heartstrings!

If Fox hadn't canceled Lucifer then we wouldn't have gotten such a fantastic season 4 from Netflix

This season had more depth and emotion than what Fox did with the series. Not to mention more delicious devil nudity:

I agree with y'all

Being on Netflix really allowed the writers to explore the Lucifer world away from the restrictions of network TV not only could they now add light nudity but they also had a bigger budget plus more time to develop and write out the season. Ironically, FOX cancelling this show might have been the best thing they could have done for it.

Suddenly I'm wondering if Fox would have been too lenient with Chloe's reaction to Lucifer's devil face and still kept us waiting for that declaration of love at this point.

Maybe, it is my understanding that for the most part networks don't tend to involve themselves too much with the storytelling of their shows, especially established ones like Luci, but it is possible that indirectly, due to the time constraints FOX would have put the writers in plus probably a bigger episode count that they (writers) wouldn't have had the chance to properly plan out Chloe's reaction and as a result of that we might have never gotten the declaration of love at the end.

I think it's very likely that if the show had stayed on FOX s4 would have played out very differently than it did, I don't think it would have been as good as it was.

Oh true, there probably would have been a higher episode count which probably would have also meant that Chloe's fear and uncertainty of Lucifer and consequently Eve would have been stretched out more.

If they had got maybe 3 more episodes I think they could have squeezed in more without loosing pace (especially secondary charecters like Dan, Ella, Trixie etc) but what we did get was still pretty damn perfect
