How do we think Maze will handle Lucifer going back to hell without her?
She had come to accept her place on earth but he did say he'd never leave her back in S2

Someone did a great Fanfiction extra scene directly after the final fight where Lucifer explains to Maze that he had to go an asks her to protect everyone else in his absence.

That sounds like a great fic

I think she will start off being angry, but in the end I think she'll be okay. Peppered throughout season 4 are remarks which don't really paint her time in Hell as the best. Also, I don't think demons in Hell really do things like "friends" and the romance she wants. So, even if she did go back down there, I bet she's changed in ways that Hell can no longer be a real home for her.
