Caught the show on Sunday night. Here are my thoughts:

* Chloe's love makes Lucifer vulnerable? That doesn't make sense, since he was vulnerable from the beginning whenever she was around.

* Pssst, Lucifer? It's not about showing up Pierce, it's about telling Chloe how you feel.

* Soooo... the male dancer thought killing a person was easier than just asking a girl out? The understudy was still there, still in the same company as him. How did killing the prima ballerina make a difference?

Also -- who sneaks out to film a blackmail tape in their stage costume?

* Linda helps Lucifer realize the truth better as his friend than his therapist

* I still don't get why Chloe is so in love with Marcus. They've been dating maybe two months at most, and she's ready to marry him?

Something seems off...

* Aside from that, Maze's storyline still confuses me. I get she wants to go back to Hell, but she wants to ruin Lucifer and Chloe's lives to do it. She used to be ride or die for both Lucifer and Chloe. What happened? Has the show even explained why she's so angry with everyone?

WTH Chloe?! This is the first dude she properly dates after her divorce, which is still fairly recent btw, they've been dating for a short amount of time, and he hasn't even met Trixie! Yet she's ready to make him her daughter's step daddy??????

Oh man. Everything about this episode screamed out pain.

I'm back, by the way, from my two week absence from over my disappointment that I won't be meeting the stars of the show after all. It still hurts, and deciding to catch up tonight with the two episodes I missed last week and the week before was no easy feat. 1. the last episode I watched I thought I was going to be meeting the stars and 2. Tonight is especially painful because tomorrow would have been the day I set off for London and Sunday would be the first of the two big days.

I am slowly overcoming this blow, however, and I realise I can't miss what I never had, even though I thought I was going to have it.

Anyways. On to the episode.

- Lucifer you silly devil just tell her!!!!!! He thinks the way to win her over is to do everything better than Pierce, but doing it by gifts and one-upping Pierce's advances is no the way to do it, you should know Chloe better than that by now.
- Loved Linda's advice to him as a friend more so than his therapist. Finally he is asked, what does he truly desire?
- Marcus asks Chloe to marry him to win her over and she yes just like that?! WTH Chloe?!
- Loved that Amenadiel enlist Charlotte to uncover Pierce and stop him marrying Chloe.

Charlotte was funny though and I love the scene with Linda asking him his desire.

Watching this episode the second time also made me realize that if Luci had told Chloe the full truth earlier this whole drama with him killing Cain in the end wouldn't have happened.

(And watching this the second round it's much more visible that Chloe only said yes to Pierce because she was so much in pain all the time about Luci never confessing his feelings.)

I kind of get where Lucifer is really coming from. When Chloe asks him "Who does deserve me?" I can almost hear him thinking, "Cain is the world's first murderer, but I'm the Devil. How can I be better?" So that is why he can only say what he did.

Yes. This was always my take on her decision. Someone finally confessing their feelings openly made her jump at the offer, rather than think it through and realise it was a knee jerk reaction because she was frustrated at Lucifer for constantly avoiding saying how he felt

I think if Chloe had phrased it in any other way that 'who does deserve me?' he would have been better able to answer.
