I loved the whole second half of the season. Also really loved how it boiled down to Michael vs Lucifer. Also when Azreal showed up my heart just knew bad things were gonna happen. My only question in the finale is I always though only Lucifer could ignite the sword? Didn’t we have a whole thing with amnendal trying but not being able?

I just finished a binge so I need to get my thoughts together. All I know is next season we’d best see Dan overcome his guilt and fear and find his way to heaven to find Charlotte or I’ll be so angry.

Loved seeing Azrael again, wish they had done more follow up with her and Ella though... maybe we'll see more of her next season. Though I do appreciate God watching her in an earlier episode... like she knew about her relationship with Azrael.

Was Lucifer made God after what he was willing to sacrifice (himself) in order to save Chloe? Michael killed a human life (something which God had forbidden) while Lucifer risked his own life to bring that very life back.

It seems Lucifer might be god but I’m not sure it will stay. I can’t help but still think God has more plans.

Elle needs to find out next season. And Dan better find a way to heaven to be with charlotte. Those are my two musts for next season.

This finale was amazing!
Seeing Maze break down made me start crying over Dan all over again
Maze and Eve getting together
Them stalling the fight by breaking into "Can't Touch This" was hilarious
Chloe dying and Lucifer sacrificing himself to bring her back
He's God now

It's being a while since I've seen that season but if memory serves correct what's needed to ignite the sword is all the pieces, the reason Lucifer was able to ignite it once when it was just the blade was because of his anger.

Well THAT was a season finale.

Put me through another emotional winger again why don't you.

I never got around to saying all my thoughts on episode 15 because of how broken I was when Dan was killed. I don't think I can now. This one is all I can think about now.

Maze finally realising that to love and loss is so much better than not loving at all, going back to Eve. Yay.

The final showdown at the arena, the distraction with the Can't Touch This was hilarious That was a nice humour moment

Azrael showing up. When she showed up as Chloe got the (what did they call the thing that ignites the sword I forget) I immediately saw what was coming, I cried out 'NO, NO NO" as did Lucifer, just as Michael killed her. I was a freaking wreck here. But I knew Lucifer wasn't going to just let her die, he had to bring her back. But to do so was to sacrifice himself returning to heaven. Glad she was in heaven instead of hell though, however brief it was. I liked that she had that time with her dad. I liked that the guy who Lucifer had helped in Hell was there in Heaven to help him. Lucifer giving Chloe the ring to send her back, the sacrifice he made

Loved the look of surprise on Michael's face when Chloe was awoken. And now she had the powers to take him out. That was epic. So because of the sacrifice he made, Lucifer was able to come back and stop Chloe from killing Michael, because that's not who she is. I liked how he just cut Michael's wings instead of killing him out right. So he's God now right? Man, what an ending!

Can't wait for S6! I'm so glad I don't have to wait too long for S6, 10th September, that's only 6 weeks away! Ugh, I don't want it to end though, can't believe it will be the last season! Yep, I also need to see Dan able to get over his guilt and find his way to heaven, he'll be with Charlotte then. I hope Ella is able to find her happiness. I wonder if she'll finally find out the truth?

Nice season finale, but I think if Luci really was God we wouldn't have much of a story left. Maybe next season we'll see him struggle with the God powers. Or maybe he doesn't really have them. Maybe we'll learn that the universe doesn't need a God anymore?

I'm happy we finally saw Azrael again. I so hope we can see her with Ella one more time next season.
