It's a good thing that double date did not work out

I found it sweet that after so many years the only woman God will ever love is his wife. I suspected we were going to see Tricia back but I was still surprised; God joining the Goddess in her universe seems a perfect retirement. Love that this time both boys got to say goodbye to their parents, and Lucifer finally got to hear his dad say he loves him.

yes im glad we finally got to hear him say I love you and that he could have done a better job raising him. Lucy was so shocked to hear that. it was a great goodbye

Oh gosh, so many things changing!

- Love Lucifer trying to plan his dad's retirement and getting distracted away from the case
- loved the barbecue scene with the whole family.
- Lucifer's plans to do things differently as God, I mean, I do approve
- Chloe not so sure about it, understandably worried that it would mean he wouldn't have the time for her being God
- the double date scene was a little awkward
- Aww Maze, loved her talk with Linda. Realising that with a soul she would be the tortured in Hell. Didn't like that she was about to kill a puppy to make herself guilty no no no Maze, some humans maybe, but puppies are off limits glad Amenadiel was able to stop her, but then she might not have been able to go through with it anyway. 'Cmon, even a demon wouldn't be able to kill a cute innocent puppy. I guess that was the point though. Loved the MazeQueen, I like the idea of Maze wanting to run Hell, she'd be perfect for the job.
- Ella! omg I had no idea that her dark side ran deeper than her attraction to bad guys. Her therapy session with Linda was heartbreaking. She obviously hates how dark her mind goes. She must have been trying so hard to stave it off her whole life, but I think she's naturally so sweet and lovable. Like God had told her, everyone has their dark side, but it's what they do with it and what they do with their light side thats important. I liked that scene with them.
- Liked Amenadiel and God playing golf. So it appears that God wasn't losing it after all, it's been Michael all along gaslighting him. He's up to no good!
- Woah, Lucifer asking one of his siblings for a favour. That's a first I think!
- So getting his wife back was the one and only thing God wanted for retirement. A little confused though, since Mum left Charlotte's body before going to her own universe, and then Charlotte died so is in heaven...how was she in Charlotte's body again? Lovely to see Tricia back though. Such an emotional scene, with God and mum deciding to leave together to go back to her universe. Awwww Lucifer wanted his dad to stick around after all. God telling Lucifer he loves him. I cried

I liked the scene with Chloe and her mum. Chloe's decision to leave the LAPD was sudden, but understandable. She wanted to give Lucifer his time, to help him like he had helped her the last five years. omg. I loved Lucifer's reaction, aww he wouldn't be able to call her detective anymore. The kiss gets interrupted. always. by one of Lucifer's siblings, telling of trouble that Michael wants to be god and that many of their siblings is siding with him. I liked how she admitted that even though she didn't like Lucifer, she hated Michael more and would rather back Lucifer than Michael.

Wasn't expecting Gabriel to be with Michael, and it was Michael's plan all along to get Lucifer to ask for that favour! And now he has Azrael's sword!

I felt sorry for Ella, but the scene with her in Linda's office also made me chuckle. I think for a forensic scientist it's not unusual for your mind to wander that way.

I loved the barbecue party with all the angels, but I was disappointed that Azrael was a no-show. I hope we'll see her again.

It's good to see that they are pulling the story together and take up threads from the earlier seasons.

The bit about the shark having ingested part of the evidence was hilarious!
