Lucifer 4x09 "Save Lucifer" Episode Discussion Thread

Lucifer's so-called epiphany has Chloe worried, but it is his physical transformation that is really freaking her out; Maze gives Eve a pep talk.

Annnd what we have here is a classic example of Lucifer externalising his issues. As soon as a potential reason for his physical change comes about he focuses on that rather than trying to face his emotions. All his changing is 'the prophacy' an not him doing it to himself. Love that Chloe is the one to talk him through it. Would have loved a Deckerstar hug at te end of that bit though, just to put a nice bow on the moment.

Fantastic episode!

I loved Maze and Eve teaming up; my heart broke for Maze when she dedicated Eve a song and Eve took it as Maze telling her to do a grand gesture for Lucifer I just want my demon baby to be happy!

Chloe's party outfit was so pretty

As somebody who watches spn Linda suggesting the name Jack for her half-human half-angel baby made me crack up

I have to say I like Eve but her thing for Luci is starting to get annoying.

It was kinda like wanting to scream at her "GET OVER IT!"

But I understand her feelings, she literally came back to earth just to be with Lucifer. She has been doing everything she thinks he wants so they can be happy together like when he was fully the Devil all that time ago. An he has been kinda leading her on ("Deep down I knew it wouldn't work out but I strung you along anyway for my own selfish wants") so she had no reason to think he didn't feel the same until he broke up with her.
