I just watched the finale and it was really good, I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for the next season :)

I won't reveal any spoilers here in case there are some people who haven't seen it yet.

That was a great episode!

Where did Lucifer end up, though... and how did he get his wings back?

Either he's somewhere divine, or Chloe is around, since he was starting to burn in the sun.

Is it possible Mom somehow found a way to bring him to her new world (although why would she just leave him lying there)?

If not, did he get his wings back the same way Amenadiel got his powers back - which, I'm guessing, was more a matter of him finally taking the weight off his shoulders (Amenadiel thinking he disappointed Dad / Lucifer trying to hide the truth from Chloe ) rather than just suddenly getting his powers back.

If someone grabbed both Lucifer and Chloe at the same time, it would be interesting if this is how she finds out the truth (seeing him with wings).

They managed to wrap up the Mom storyline, but now we're left on a cliffhanger of who took Lucifer (and maybe Chloe), and where he is.

Question: Wasn't there supposed to be a few more episodes this season, or was it always supposed to be 18 episodes? I thought I heard something about them moving the final few episodes to open Season 3, but I may be mistaken. Can anyone clear that up?

I think so. They apparently didn't have anywhere to air the episodes though until the Fall.

I will say, Charlotte having apparently amnesia or this new person that looks exactly like Charlotte was a you gotta be kidding be time. It was incredible that Lucifer's therapist didn't die. It looked she was going to.

I think Mom brought the original Charlotte back to life, and that's who we saw once Mom disappeared into the rift Lucifer created. She would have no memory of Lucifer or Dan.

That's what I thought too, let's not forget that Lucifer's mum is a supreme being, the goddess of all creation, she has no real physical form so when she came to this world her soul had to possess the body of a human in order to survive in our world, and she possessed the body of Charlotte. So when her soul disappeared into the rift (presumably back to hell), the real Charlotte was brought back to life, thus, the real Charlotte would have no memory or even knowledge of Lucifer and Amenadiel and everyone else, and everything that happened after "mum" possessed her.

This episode! Oh my god it was so good! :thud:

I loved how they resolved things with mom, the scene with her and Lucifer on the beach was beautiful and heartbreaking.

I'm so glad Linda didn't die! And Amenadiel seemed to get his powers back! :yay:
I am sorta :irked: that we got super close to Chloe realizing Lucifer is the actual devil and it didn't happen but that ending was  and raises so many questions that I can't be that mad.

Basically what happened is that there was a scheduling conflict at FOX. Originally this season consisted of 18 episodes, FOX picked it up for a full season which is 22, but they [FOX] had a conflict in schedule and moved the season back down to 18. Those 4 missing episodes are standalone and they will air as part of season 3.

I'm so overwhelmed with feelings about this finale!

Loved every second of it! Amenadiel getting his powers back (his scenes with Dan :lmao:), Linda proving to be the most amazing and loyal human being ever, a great resolution to the mom storyline...

I'm a bit "wtf" to the ending but I guess that was the point  And also mad about Chloe still not knowing, they can't drag it out for another entire season :thud:

wickedrum 05-31-2017 10:18 AM

what a cataclysmic finale!

a new hope 05-31-2017 10:39 AM

I'm still in shock/confusion over that final scene :thud: Do you guys think that's heaven?

wickedrum 05-31-2017 02:55 PM

if that's heaven, it's not very nice!

canflam 05-31-2017 03:07 PM

 Yeah. I think it depends on what your version of ''heaven'' is. There certainly weren't any pearly white gates.

LindaL100 05-31-2017 09:29 PM

I got the impression that the last scene was a flashback to when Lucifer first came to this world he landed in a desert? I guess that scene would be explained in the next season.
