I liked that we met another brother, but sad about how that ended. I wonder what will happen to Lucifer now.
I was also disappointed in the scene between Lucifer and Amenadiel when Amenadiel told him he lost his powers. I wished Lucifer actually seemed to care more. __________________

Yes. It was sad that it ended that way, but we got see Charisma Carpenter & Phil Lamarr on the show, which was nice & I was sad how that ended as well, though at least they made it out alive. I can just imagine now what Lucifer's next therapy session will be like.

Yes, easily the best of the season. Touches on some of the supernatural elements and ethical choices I've been requesting for quite a while now. Very decent acting. It still grates me how Chloe is living in eternal denial. It gets old. Every episode the promos tease that she'll find out and every episode the show fails to deliver. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me a dozen times, shame on me. I think the show believes it's found its "concept" and won't have Chloe finding out the truth this season either.
Still, the bottom line: great episode. __________________

Oh. So you didn't like the other episodes of this season much then? When I think of ''the truth'' about Lucifer I just remember the George Costanza theory theory & that's ''It's not a lie if you believe it.'' That seems to be the case with Chloe about Lucifer.

This episode left me speechless. Those last 10 to 15 minutes are so far, in my opinion, the best of the series. They were perfect and that actually worries me, cause this seemed very season finale so I don't know how they're gonna top it off on the actual finale.
I loved seeing Lucifer and Dan fanboying together, that was so cute. I agree with Cathy, I too would have liked more concern from Lucifer towards his brother. I think that's the only thing I didn't fully like. __________________

Interesting that no matter the interpretation, Uriel is never a sympathetic guy

Lucifer just wanted to protect Chloe, for some reason, because Uriel Chloe wanted to do something. Because Lucifer has apparently fallen in love with Chloe, I can not explain it differently. I wonder if we will see more angels or archangels. Archangel Gabriel maybe? Or Raphael?

I don't thinks that she's fallen in love with him yet, as it has seemed quite the opposite a good amount of time.

Well he was only on 1 episode I recall, so it's tough to be sympathetic in such short of time, though he did act like jerk during most of the air time he got I thought.

I agree that this was one of the best episodes!
I felt sympathetic to Luci's reaction when Amenadiel told him about his power loss. Amenadiel could have told him earlier and he put Chloe in danger by hiding it. I liked how the showed Uriel's power with patterns. The mention of Azrael made me think that they maybe planned a bigger role for her later, but then didn't get the same actress for season 4? |
