2x09 - "Homewrecker" Episode Discussion - Airs November 21st
2x09 "Homewrecker" Following the murder of the owner of the building in which Lux is located, Lucifer and Chloe search for the killer, while Lucifer also deals with the fact that the new owner wants to evict him and demolish the place. Lucifer goes to great lengths to protect his home, and is entirely shocked when Chloe is supportive of him. Meanwhile, Maze and Amenadiel follow Charlotte around, as she comes up with a plan to upset Lucifer enough to want to leave earth and go back to Heaven. - All these celestial beings keep trying to kill poor Chloe.
- Anyone notice they refer to Heaven as the "Silver City" now? It was more comic book accurate, I guess  - I like Dr. Linda being in on the secret. It's fun. - As a former Trekkie, I loved Ella's Klingon reference . Every comic book show has to have the 'techie/geek', don't they? (See Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow)__________________

I liked this episode it was really good. I found it very lighthearted compared to the past couple of episodes, it didn't seem emotionally heavy which I really enjoyed cause while I like emotionally packed eps it's good to have something light every once in a while.
I love the Lucifer/Chloe, Maze/Amenadiel we got and Mom sleeping with Dan was hilarious  Quote:

First of all Ella is officially the perfect woman.
Second they showed the "leaning-in-to-kiss" moment in the promo to entice us, but I think they'll end up cheating the audience. They've done it before, and worse. "There's something you have to know about Lucifer", remember. __________________
One must never place a loaded rifle on the stage if it isn't going to go off. It's wrong to make promises you don't mean to keep. |

I loved tonight's episode! Mom has got to go
 She's willing to do whatever it takes to get Lucifer to leave. Them dancing It was sad to see him sitting there after realizing he's afraid how Chloe will react to him  ITA on that kiss not happening. Teasers!! Next weeks ep looks intense and I wonder why Chloe's mom is there  __________________

What a great episode.
I can't believe Dan and mom....but it was enjoyable. Maze and Amenadiel are always awesome together and Lucifer at the end because of things with Chloe. __________________

I hope Mom redeems herself somehow in the future. I mean, it's awesome to have a supernatural villain, but it's their MOM. It's just a bit sad  But I'm enoying the season so far and this episode was no exception.__________________

Tricia Helfer plays her wonderfully, I like how she is a villain, but out of her own twisted understanding of "love" for her children.
I felt so sorry for Chloe sitting there alone in the end and Luci being not able to take the next step. Linda telling Mom that she wouldn't tell her what Luci is talking about in their sessions was cool. |
