Man I love their bond though so much. I just I hate that sometimes it seems as if Lucifer had her around for doing her bounty hunter thing or for torturing people, etc.

In his own Lucifer way I think that's what that scene was. Seeing Decker ride off with Pierce made him realise Maze was the only one capable of staying with him (immortal, afterall) and relating to him as a non-human. He was just really bad at articulating it because it was to do with real feelings and he's, we'll. ... Lucifer

Like at times it seemed as if she did. But he was always after Chloe..

Yeah I would hope we get something like that.
That she's much more to him than just a demon sidekick.

I don't know, I think maybe at some point she felt some romantic feelings for him but it was like a 'what if?' and he doesn't seem to ever have had romantic feelings towards her.

Exactly, I want him realizing that she's more than a sidekick. And also realizing how much he means to Maze. Like the scene between them in Linda's office after they had gotten into a fight.

Yes. I'd love another scene like that between them. Something that hints at all the eons they have spent together and mean to each other

I still really loved when she had said Lucifer was going to leave her and then he was like "I would never do that"

Yes, an we all know he never lies so at the time he really really meant it

I'm not sure if it was ever 'romance' between them as neither has really understood those types of emotions until pretty recently. Sharing in physical indulgence but I'd take it more like a loyalty between a king and a trusted general, a trust (as much as the devil and a demon could) that nothing could break...at least until Maze sided with Pierce and tortured Lucifer to stay awake.

The constant presence of each other and the reliance that Lucifer can always count on her and (hopefully, eventually) she can count on him is the focus of the relationship for me. I'd love a story where Lucifer has to come rescue her for a change, just to show that he would
