That's different bec now they can including the comic movies and actors/actresses to nominated now unlike in the past.. They never announce the comic films to nominated until two years ago which they did.. So, that's why Joaquin did.. I mean, we all knew that Heath won bec he passed and he was only one did comic movie on that time.. Which that's why most fought why not the comic films can be part of Academy to win?? So they finally including them for now on..

But he still did a great job, Heath I mean. I guess we'll never know what would have happened if Heath hadn't died. Look at Natalie Portman who won for Black Swan .. that was unusual for the time.
