What a cutie, I love seeing childhood photos like this. Looks at those freckles.


The scene at the end of the film when they close the film out and they play that soaring music while playing clips of Heath's filmography and where they show Heath spinning, I found that really affecting.

I like what Heath's Mom said about being lucky that Heath completed so much in his life and that Matila will get to see how creative and artistic he was.

He haven't change at all, but mature once he get older..

Oh yeah, I love that part.. Yeah, I agree since I love the way his mom said about him like that.. And same with his friends who will show Matilda the videos of her dad..

Seeing Heath's passion for directing was pretty cool and who knew he was a grea chess player. I have no clue how to play that game.

I love how he was so passion about directing.. I can see he would be so amazing one..

Same here about the chess game.. Plus my ex was teaching me how to play the chess.. I was like I still don't get it..

I just found an old article from 2008 that mentions Ellen Page and how she was in talks to start in a film that Heath would have directed. I think I read about this awhile back but then forgot about it. I am a fan of both of them so that would have been amazing. It would have been so nice to see what he could have done.

The article says that the movie would have been about an orphan who become a chess prodigy. Since Heath was a chess player, I think it's wonderful that he was planning on directing a film about that. What could have been.
