I just had to post it, too.
This is the best part of the movie for me.

Quote:
I hate the way you talk to me,

and the way you cut your hair.

I hate the way you drive my car,

I hate it when you stare.

I hate your big dumb combat boots

and the way you read my mind.

I hate you so much it makes me sick,

it even makes me rhyme.

I hate the way you’re always right,

I hate it when you lie.

I hate it when you make me laugh,

even worse when you make me cry.

I hate it when you’re not around,

and the fact that you didn’t call.

But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you,

not even close…

not even a little bit…

not even at all.

this is one of my fave movies ever. i rate this movie as a 10. it's so witty and romantic. the script is just sarcastic yet hysterical. all the actors were just amazing and engaging. i can watch it over and over yet never get tired of it.

Rai, thanks for posting that poem. That is just

Teena, I so hear you on that one. I flove this movie.

Okay, let me take a stab at the questions listed:

1. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the movie and why?

I'd rate it a 10, just cause it's one of the best teen movies that's been made, imo.

2. Which characters did you like/not like?

I absolutely loved Kat, Patrick & Ms. Perky (Allison Janney always manages to crack me up). Cameron was cute & Mr. Stratford was funny. Not so sold on Bianca or Joey or any of the others, but I guess it's a matter of taste. They helped make the movie, though, I'll give them that.

3. Do you have a favorite scene in the movie? If so, which one and what made it stand out to you?

Too many. But I guess the standout would have to be the singing scene. It gets me every time And when Kat recites her poem with tears in her eyes... and just the look of Patrick while listening attentively... yeah, I love it!

4. Could they have done something to make it better? If so, what?

I wouldn't want them to change anything. The movie is perfect the way it is.

5. Would you recast any of the roles? If so, who would you want to see in the role(s)?
Quite frankly, I can't think of any. I think the leads were perfectly cast and the supporting characters were fitting as well.

6. Do you have a favorite quote from the movie?

Mr. Stratford: I'm down, I've got the 411, and you are not going out and getting jiggy with some boy, I don't care how dope his ride is. My momma didn't raise no foo'!

Mr. Stratford: My insurance does not cover PMS!

Kat Stratford: Whoops.

Kat Stratford: I dazzled him with my... wits.

Patrick: Are you telling me I'm not a pretty guy?

There are plenty more, but I'll be stuck here all day quoting them.

7. Anything else you want to add about the movie?
Nah, I think it's obvious I love it

The last line is too funny. Just the sarcastic way she delivers that line is a winner!

1. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the movie and why? a 9. Well, I don't really like comedy/love stories type. Though, I love the sarcasm of this movie and Heath and Julia did very well with their roles so I'll give it a 9.

2. Which characters did you like/not like? I like all actually. Everyone compliments or links to the other so I liked them.

3. Do you have a favorite scene in the movie? If so, which one and what made it stand out to you? Yes, I have 2. (I am cheesy now ) I love when Heath sang and also the poem part.

4. Could they have done something to make it better? If so, what? Hmmm... I'll ponder more about this.

5. Would you recast any of the roles? If so, who would you want to see in the role(s)? Nope. I wouldn't!

6. Do you have a favorite quote from the movie? The poem!

7. Anything else you want to add about the movie? Nothing. It's perfect!

1. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the movie and why? I'd rate it 8 for me, its one of the funniest movies I've ever watched but some of the acting is off in bits.

2. Which characters did you like/not like? I actually like all the characters, obviously some more than others. Kat, Patrick and Kat's dad but they are all really enjoyable.

3. Do you have a favorite scene in the movie? If so, which one and what made it stand out to you? Like most I do love the scene where Kat reads out her poem. I think its the one scene where we get a real solid burst o femotion from her. You get to see how much she's hurting. Its special.

4. Could they have done something to make it better? If so, what? I dont think so.

5. Would you recast any of the roles? If so, who would you want to see in the role(s)? I wouldnt re-cast anyone.

6. Do you have a favorite quote from the movie? I dont think I have a favourite, just everything ever said by Kat's dad, he's hilarious!

7. Anything else you want to add about the movie? I dont think so, it was fabulous.
