Heard a rumor he might give up playing Spock after the next (3rd) movie. Is this true? Or is it just a bargaining tool for when the cast's contracts are up around that same time? I dont expect the actors to stay in the roles for anything like the originals did, but three films is just simply not enough! Who's with me?

I'm with you and hope it's just a bargaining ploy. It's hard to imagine the franchise going forward without Spock, and I'd hate to think of them recasting.

The initial recast was controversial in the first place. Now that people have come to accept these actors in the roles, it would just alienate fans to recast again.
