Which is your favourite Star Trek Series?
I have been re-watching DS9 over the last few week and I have began to think that it is in fact my favourite Star Trek series, the last few seasons have some real epic episodes and its got me totally hooked again. The Dominion Wars in particular is probably my favourite Star Trek storyline.
What do you guys think? What is your favourtie series and why? :-) |

The Original Series, because its the series I watched as a preteen then teen. I grew up with these characters. They were an extension of my family.

TNG would be my favourite. While I had seen some TOS when I was younger, by time I was watching because I wanted to, it seemed dated. TNG was generally well written, did a great job exploring space and developing the relationships amongst the crew.

I could not pick a favourite, because to me TOS, TNG and DS9 each have strong and weak points. I have a feeling most fans have favourite characters more than favourite shows.

To me, each show had strong characters and developed nice friendships amongst the crew. I can see Kirk working with Riker, or Picard with Spock, but I don't see McCoy & Crusher being quite so interchangeable

Mine is TNG, It was the first Star Trek series I´ve watched and I loved it from the start.

TOS will always be the best to me. I did watch TNG faithfully as a child but feel very little interest in going back to rewatch. I do enjoy rewatching DS9 and Enterprise (!).
