It's the holidays so I can spend all day watching SF, however much it annoys my mum.

Dwight Schultz made Murdock truly awesome I think my favorite Barclay episode was the reverse-evolution one...

Nothing wrong with a little diversification

I think that was Barclay's first episode.

You're furthering your education in classic tv shows.

The look on his face was priceless! Picard had just given Geordi the gears about putting a stop to that nickname, then Picard used it to Barclay himself! Then Data was all, oh, it's easy to mix up similiar sounding words.

Deanna was amused at Barclay's holodeck Riker - made a comment about perhaps him being so tall was intimidating. She was not impressed at all with the holodeck Goddess of Empathy though.

There were some great Barclay stories over the years in the shows.

Yes, there were. Again, a lot of it is due to the actor being able to make the character believable and sympathetic. I'm glad that he was a recurring character. Also enjoyed seeing him on Voyager.

Ooooooooooh, yeah! It was also nice to see the character, who had been kind of "in the wrong place" really, find a more appropriate niche to fill and be happy.

My Mother's stubborness has finally worn out, and she has accepted the inevitable. I am a Trekkie. She's now using it as a bargaining chip; 'if you do your piano and viola practice, I'll let you watch an episode of Star Trek'.
I'm not complaining. At least she's letting me watch it.

However, she still does her best to stop me whenever I start amusing myself by pretending I'm Captain Kirk on the Starship Enterprise. My favourite role-play activities are choosing someone to be the bad alien and attacking them with my 'hand phaser' (a water pistol), or speaking Star Trek jargon and pretending to teleport my cats to the planet below. Yesterday I managed to get my siblings to join in while we were in the car. Mum got frustrated when I insisted on calling her Mr Sulu and kept giving her orders.

Can't say I blame her. And yay for getting your siblings to watch too!

Tracey - yes, it was nice to see O'Brien on a regular basis. I enjoyed his courtship with Keiko.
