The most recent episode I've seen is 'The Game'. not a favorite but I love when Data comes to the bridge and saves the crew with a flashlight. That Wes Crusher is a clever kid. oh, and Robin Lefler... Love a girl who's anal enough to keep a list of personal axioms, but still soooo mellow.

Welcome to ckress83.

For the most part I enjoyed Wesley. I know some people who got annoyed with him always saving the day, but sometimes thinking outside the box is exactly what's needed to solve a situation.

the most toys was excellent. kivas fajo was an interesting character. the episode showed me a side of Data i'd never seen. when he realized that it would be unjust for him NOT to eliminate kivas... it was a moment of personal growth for Data. he was a little closer to human right then. also it's the episode that tells us a lot of Datas key materials and their approximate quantities. a personal fav. another Data classic is 'Data's Day'

i always wanted them to elaborate on the friendship between Picard and Guinan. by Guinan's estimation, their relationship was "beyond friends, beyond family". i wanna know, why are they so close? how far back do they go?

McCoy was in SOME episode, but i can't remeber if it was that one. he was walking with Dr. Crusher on Enterprise D and he commented on his being a doctor himself and how he was 130 years old and alot had changed. they never mentioned his name though did they? i think it was sort of a treat for us to know it was McCoy but for them not to confirm that.

i'm such a nerd. i've forsaken all other shows for Trek. my DVR has over a hundred episodes on it, and would have alot more if i didn't have to make room for more Trek! it's really all i watch anymore. do i have a problem?

Totally agree that 'The Most Toys' was a good episode. I enjoyed most of the Data centered episodes.

As to Guinan and Picard, they teased us about their past, but then we never found out much about it. Picard seemed to trust her implicitly, obviously there must have been some basis for that.

I doubt that you'll find anybody here who thinks that you have a problem.

Just so you know, we generally ask that you edit your post instead of posting so many times in a row after yourself.

I wonder, what IS the best trek movie ever? I personally have to divide them into TOS movies and TNG movies. For TNG, I'm currently partial to Insurrection. For TOS..... might have to say Trek VI. Any other opinions?

We have a thread for discussing the various movies here.

Insurrection & First Contact would be my favourites featuring the TNG cast.

Me too. Since they showed most of the crew coming aboard in the series premiere, it's not like they can do a 'before the series started' thing and I think too much time has passed to bring the existing actors back together.

Yes. I think they are through with the Next Generation franchise for now. I guess in 10 years they could re-cast the characters and start over with a new movie.

hmm ... not sure what I think of that idea. I'm still trying to get used to the idea of different actors portraying the TOS crew.

I think if the new TOS movie is successful, they can do TNG later.
