I loved Data in The Next Phase. The way he was discussing with Worf, what would be appropriate, and how Geordi was his best friend.
In the end, Data was able to figure out what was going on:
"Turn it up to the highest level, and flood 10-Forward!"

The bit that got me was when Data was discussing this with Riker, and said how he expected he'd outlive several friends during his lifetime ... really made me feel sad for Data.

Remember in "Times Arrow" they found Data's head underground. Geordi was upset and wanted to talk about it. Data said he felt relieved, and more human, knowing that he wouldn't live forever.

I taped the first part of 'Time's Arrow' on Friday. Part 2 will air Monday, and I'd prefer to watch them together.

That's one of the episodes I bought in a two VHS tape set many years ago.
I enjoy it.

Trek has always been widely available in syndication here, so I've never bothered buying tapes or dvds.

I quite enjoyed 'Time's Arrow' last night. I was surprised Riker even asked Guinan what he should do based on her memory of what happened.

Sorry, Chris. Hadn't you seen Times Arrow, before? I wouldn't have been chatting about Data's head.

Now that "The Most Toys" doesn't sound familiar to me. Since Data is one of my favorites, I will have watch for that one.

Yes, I'd seen it before but it's been a while.

"The Most Toys" was a decent eppy, but it was disturbing to think of somebody collecting sentient beings for a zoo.

I watched Starship Mine last night. It's been so long since I've seen this one I couldn't remember anything about it. Tim Russ (Tuvok on VOY) was one of the guest bad guys, so that was . Data trying to learn the art of small talk was hilarious!

Me too. I've watched a few DS9 episodes, but it never managed to draw me in like the other series have.

I watched Encounter at Farpoint the other day, while I didn't remember all the things going on, I was surprise how much I actually remembered, like McCoy and O'Brien were in it.

Couldn't remember they split the Enterprise into the drive and saucer section at all. I knew they did it, but in the pilot - no. I guess that means I need to refresh my TNG memories.

It's been a while now since I've seen Encounter at Farpoint . My impression from last time I seen it was how stiff the actors all seemed with teh characters and each other.
