Reminds me of a video of a dog where the owner threw a ball at him and it just bounced off his head with no reaction basically.

It was, but I couldn't find it anymore. It was about clumsy dogs.

Next time I want to relax, I'll have to search YouTube for dog videos.

Figured it couldn't hurt to rally the troops.

That would be amazing.

I think the elimination of poverty and associated problems came with the invention of the replicator, bc there was an abbundance of everything then which made the accumulation of wealth worthless. So capitalism died out after less then a generation probably. And the one world government ensured peace on earth. Sexism, racism or homophobia can only end if people change their mind which they did in star trek.

Realisitically I see a better chance in eliminating racism, sexism and homophobia (in the west at least) than stopping poverty.

Completely agree that eliminating poverty would go a long way towards helping resolve other issues.
