This looks like a great cast. Havent seen many of them act, but I'll see it.

Winona Ryder...hmm...I laughed when I first read she was gonna be in it, but I guess once I see her in costume and all, I'll understand. I loved Amanda, so I'm not sure...

That's a very nice opening post. Great pics. Lets me visualize it more...but no Leonard Nimoy??? The shame!

Really looking forward to seeing Quinto as Spock.

I hope he pulls it off well.

I did! Actually quite convincing. Now that I've seen ZQ as Spock, I think he'll work perfect. I've never seen him act, but I assume he's good. Looks quite similar to Nimoy!Spock

Jennifer's a natural blonde? I didn't realize that. Hubby prefers her as a brunette.

Correct me if I'm wrong here: In the original Star Trek, don't Vulcan's live a long long time.? Isn't Spock supposed to be something approaching 100 years old and Kirk is in his 30's..?? If so, how does this fit into a movie where everybody is young..?

Yes, they do. I think Spock's father Sarek was just over 200. In Enterprise, T'Pol was supposed to be mid-60's.

As to how their ages fit in the movie, apparently there will be 2 Spocks and time travel is involved.
