Interesting. I never really imagined Jim to be the type to settle down in a particular type of house.

I never gave any thought to the kind of house he might settle into, either. Mainly because I never thought of him as the type TO settle down anywhere!

The book Nebula Awards 30 has many Star Trek references. The book is an anthology of science fiction stories, but there there are also references and direct mentions in the notes and author mini-bios as well.

Exactly.

I haven't read that anthology. I'll have to remember to check for it next time I'm at the library.

Probaly a two bedrom house, one for him and one for his ego Haha noo like you guys I have never thought about Kirk beeing the kind of person to settle down. I don't think I have ever thought about any Star Trek character seetle down in any particular type of house.

Yeah, all the characters seem pretty career oriented.

I think I could see some of them settling down... Dr. Crusher, maybe. If she found a planet she liked and was still able to be a doctor. maybe a couple of others. But yeah, most of the main characters on the shows seem like they have enough wanderlust to keep them out exploring.

Nah... I liked the whole storyline where Crusher and Picard found out that they were just friends and nothing more.

I'll second that. Picard and Crusher had such a deep and lasting friendship it's easy to imagine them letting it develop into something more. Especially once they didn't need to worry about following Starfleet regulations.

Star Trek TNG seems to be on at least one channel every day here. Though it would be nice to have them on DVD so I could watch whichever episode I want and not have to deal with commercials!

Actualy I don't think any channel in Sweden airs it right now, they did before but now it is Voyager and DS9 And always fun with the dvd box, you can see it in a faster pace.

TOS, TNG & VOY air here weekdays. I've never bothered with the DVD's because it's easy to watch on tv when I'm in the mood. Although agree that it would be nice to watch a particular episode and not to have commercials.

On this week's Hawaii Five-O Max made reference to having to sell his DS9 action figures to raise money to buy a new car. And the camera lingered on his "Warp 9" license plate.
