Never could get into Big Bang Theory. Probably won't try to watch it just for Wil Wheaton. Though, Wil does seem to enjoy playing the darker roles.

No, I've never got into it either, but I'm not a big fan of sitcoms in general. Might try to watch just to see Wil & Brent.

Finally watched it! Loved that McGarrett went to him for help. Maybe Masi's role will expand this season. Really cute keychain.

We just joined here, but it seems great!!

We were thinking about some of the best planets in sci-fi/fantasy and Risa ranked pretty high on our list. We're pretty sad we can't actually vacation on the Pleasure Planet!! And to be perfectly honest, we don't think there are any other Star Trek planets that could top Risa...

Oh, if you're interested in what we did pick, here's a link to the list:

Welcome to Interesting list there. Actually, I'm going to cross post it to the Firefly thread.

Seth MacFarlane Secretly Wants 'Family Guy' to End; Relaunch 'Star Trek' for TV - The Hollywood Reporter

Quote:
MacFarlane is particularly eager to reboot one of his favorite franchises, Star Trek, for TV. "I don't know who would give me the keys to that car," he jokes, acknowledging that the films have been so profitable for Paramount that he isn't so sure they have a lot of interest in getting back into the TV business. "But I’d love to see that franchise revived for television in the way that it was in the 1990s: very thoughtful, smartly written stories that transcend the science fiction audience.”
It would be sure to be an interesting interpretation ...

Did anybody watch The Big Bang Theory last week?

Star Trek Enterprise now feeds your baby | Ubergizmo

Maybe when I have grandkids ...

Quote:
Called the Star Trek Enterprise Light-Up Feeding System, this uber-cool spoon features flashing LEDs that draw the baby’s attention as you guide the spoon towards his/her mouth. Motion sensors in the spoon ensure that the lights flash on when the “spaceship” is moving to increase battery life. The Light-Up Feed Sytem comes with a matching bib, that has flashing lights as well, to make sure your kid stays clean during meals.

The book Rituals, by Ed Gorman, has a Star Trek reference in it. While describing the architecture of a house, it is said that it is "the type of place James Kirk would live if he came back to Earth."
