Which Star Trek character would you be?

Star Trek (any series) character would you must like to be?

I bet we won't get many volunteers for the unknown guy in the red uniform that dies two minutes into very show.

oh i would be Enterprise's Hoshi !! she just seems to linger in the background quietly geting on with life without anyone knowing she's around !

im actually torn between picard, because he is a strong and confident leader, and Q because he is Q and need i say more...i love the arrogant personality and always being in control of almost every situation...if i had to pick a minor character i would have to say tom paris because i would love to fly a starship, have a captain proton holodeck program and be married to torres

Dark omega zer0 08-20-2004 03:49 PM

For powers, Q of course...for other things maybe Lore. Lore is an android so he can do all the things humans can do only better, but he isn't stuck without emotions like Data.

Great topic!

If I had to pick just one, it would have to be Q.

Ne-fehr-ious 08-27-2004 07:14 PM

I'll be an expendable redshirt for ya - after all, they got to do one day's work, and then come back as some else to get killed yet again!! OK, just kidding there. HMMM...for a sense of humor, I'd have to be Riker, but there were times when I didn't care for his pomposity, and trombone players are just dangerous...How about Mott the hairdresser - you het to hear all the gossip without the strain of knowing the laws of physics. I've got it -Q's son - you get to be young, powerful, impulsive, and have an interesting touch of humor, having learned from the master - Q himself. Yeah, that's it.

Since I was a little girl, I've always wanted to be Troi. Half Betazoid half human, I figured that it would be cool to be able to read clearly people's emotions like she could. I also wanted to look as pretty as she did and have a man like Riker to care about me. :D Those were my childhood years. :sigh:

Chris 09-11-2004 08:53 PM

Interesting choice Cathangel. Troi is one person I definitely wouldn't want to be. I find just the thought of being able to read other people's emotions scary. I'm sure that it would drive me nuts.

I guess I'd have to say "Trip". Hey a possible future with T'pol... :yay:

Wildfire Girl 09-13-2004 01:05 AM

:lmao: at the ideas, especially PPD. :P

I was going to say I'd be T'Pol, but now ... :look:

Seriously, I love the idea of the not letting emotions run your life angel that she lives. I love her alone-ness, her independence, her control. And hey, I could stand being a hot chic myself.

 @ Karen & PPD

Trek has had some strong female characters. I've always found B'Elanna intriguing.

If I were to be any Star Trek character, I would be Tuvok. :)

Ever since I saw him, he just seemed so cool, and plus he's Vulcan. :D

Chris 10-03-2004 11:01 PM

Tuvok was an interesting character. We never really found out a lot about him though. Or maybe it was more that his character wasn't used as much as it could have been.

I'd be Seven of Nine. I related to her SO MUCH. And not just because I'm a buxom blonde who traipses around in high heels, a corset, and a cat suit.

Oh, wait, I'm not any of those things.

Actually, I related to her because of her frustration. She'd say "Why do it this way when this other way is more efficient" And Janeway would tell her "Because that's just how the Federation DOES things, so it's right." That was just so much the way my job was while that show was on.

:rotfl:

Yes, it can be frustrating when organizations are set in their ways and aren't willing to consider new ideas.
