Been showing my kids various Star trek things, recently the original series. We all saw the recent movies together at the cinema, though. It makes sense, as they don't know all the different series like we do. The new films are a good way of getting a whole new generation into it.

Agree with you there. It's wonderful that the new films have introduced new people to the fandom, and intrigued them enough to go check out the tv series.
