Oh it kind of just slowly grew, for me, I think the moment T'Pol realized feelings for Trip was when Sim admitted feelings for her, and by doing so he told her he didn't know if it was his or Trip's. 3x10 and after that grew stronger throughout season 3.
As for Trip I say he didn't realize his feelings until E2 3x21 when T'Pol was going through something and Trip went through so much to try his best to comfort her, afterwards their relationship just soared. This is my opinion though, everyone has different views of when their relationship begun. |

I honestly can't remember much about how this relationship started.
