The construction crews are on my street this morning to get the natural gas lines started. It's good that my son is on day shift and not trying to sleep after working nights.

Signed the contract yesterday for our new gas fireplace. This fellow wasn't the cheapest, but we liked the way he specified exactly what materials he'd be using on the estimate. Also the fact that he got back to us right away to answer questions. Two guys never returned calls, and the other never even got us an estimate yet. It's supposed to be installed the end of September.

Yeah, not a good impression when people don't even call back, kind of like when I switched internet providers when the technician wouldn't show up in the provided window.

We've got our stadium which believe is now called Roger's Center but there's no point being the only Canadian team -- its best for them just to do the travelling even if it seems the wrong idea

NHL was smart bringing all the 24 teams up here to Canada they could have done it between all 7 arenas but it seems they are just doing games in Toronto and Edmonton

I think a lot of sporting events are going to be held without an audience, even if the people who would go understood the risk I would think it would be far too risky even if they tried to accommodate for 6 feet between seats. WWE has an "audience" but afaik they are all wrestling trainees and such and they are spread out. Most likely just to simulate the crowd reactions to characters who are supposed to be 'face' and 'heel'... ie cheering or booing.

Think I might go have a nice relaxing bath, possibly a late supper and if I'm not too tired consider doing more on the Requests work for tomorrow, but I suppose I might want to get to sleep at a decent time if possible as I think my mom is going to drop off a few more groceries here in the morning which will likely wake me.
