in the USA Trump is trying to pass a US Stimulus bill.... I don't know if it will only pay the Employed [who pay taxes when issued their checks] or Everyone.... I have a hard time believing that everyone will get some kind of money from the government. I'm going to try to do research on it now. This is the same President who tried to get rid of Government/ State foodstamps benefits just a short time ago.... so no clue what is going on


ETA- 2020 Stimulus
It's only if you own a business and you have to pay the government back! This isn't the Obama Stimuls that sent most Americans money to boost the economy.

Dave - thanks for the new thread. Terrific title! For supper I took some pork chops out of the freezer, fried some potatoes, some frozen corn, and made a salad with the last of the lettuce. How about you?

Sarah - yeah, Trudeau announced that he would increase the GST benefit. As far as I know, social assistance benefits remain the same and I can't see them reducing that.

Don’t see them raising it either but a short term temporary “add-on” would be appreciated :shrug: though most likely not necessary especially if receiving additional with GST considering social assistance is pretty guaranteed hoping to not be delayed where most disconcerting is those out of work from this virus

Just curious though if the GST will be April or delayed until July’s :shrug:

Did I reply on a closed thread? :lol: Anyway, no... We play at someones house but people are advised not to gather for stuff whether its sleep overs or whatnot (unnecessary stuff) so yeah... don't really want to gather. Looking into maybe playing over discord, but I dunno.

I got up way too early

Well it seems banks have closed related to having tellers etc cause saw a notice for the one at the mall :bubble: hope its all banks not just the one at the mall

Took a walk to get sugar where still trying to get out every few days :look:

Now have put Transformers on cause its the movie marathon it seems off Sci-Fi and going to see about some :ff: and light cleaning

I did an online order for chicken and steaks at M&M - a frozen food store. Hubby and I went to pick it up and hubby thought he should go in for the order. It's a small store, and he could see another customer inside, so he waiting outside. Jeepers. This other woman was just piddling around wanting the clerk to show her a bunch of different items, then deciding not to take them. She seemed totally oblivious to the idea of limiting social contact. We were parked in front of Bulk Barn, a bulk food store. they have a notice posted asking people to use the hand sanitizer dispenser when they enter the store … of the 10 people I watched go in, only 3 bothered with the hand sanitizer and 2 were a mother and son. I seen an employee bringing baskets back to the store entrance, but she wasn't telling people to go back and use the sanitizer. At any rate, I was already wary of purchasing bulk food at this point in time, but now I'll definitely be avoiding bulk food in general and that store in particular.
