Days I'm off at 4 I'm generally gone by 3, but the other grill operator went home early... so I stayed.

I don't mind getting off early from time to time. I hate the period between 2 and 4 when it's slow, I'd rather it be steady... it feels like it passes quicker.

Is the weather okay where you are Johnnie? There's a news article about high winds and flash floods out your way.

Dave - did something special happen or just a good day in general?

Tracey - do you have plans for the weekend?

Chris...I paid my bills and writing a plan just in case my food assistance doesn't come in March due to the government shut down. My Lucky Day android App has given me 10 dollars so far and I'm a quarter off from 20.... and Bing search rewards is already up to 20... so that can be used for emergency food money if need be... but Trump and the Senate are going to get together and work things out and hopefully the Government shutdown will end.

do you guys have an android or iPhone with Apps?

oh, food assistance is federal, not state? I sincerely hope things are cleared up by March. You're smart to try and plan ahead for the possibility.

You can spend your Bing rewards anywhere? After a month and a half, I'm halfway to a $10 gift card.

No fancy cell phone for me. I just have an old flip phone that we use when travelling.

Chris....no...not anywhere...but Target and Walmart are the two participating rewards and you can buy food at both stores...I go to Walmart more.

Apparently, the government does fund the Food Assistance program for the United States. what I'd like to know is how come the President has the power to shut down the government.? what happened to US government "checks and balances" with the Senate and House of Representatives... in this decision? maybe I'll ask my friend if I see him the next two weeks or so

that sounds nice Tracey
I'm not close with my aunt.... I was less closer to my grandma [my aunts and mom's mother]. She was tough, pre-70s old school towards people but that was because she had to raise 3 kids on her own mostly after her husband passed away...I forgot what age my mom was when that happen...
