Hope all the medical issues will be resolved soon

Kia - that sounds frustrating. Almost like an auto-immune thing, like rheumatoid arthritis. Glad you can enjoy some time on your balcony.

Dave - did you find any deals at Walmart?

Ran out to the store to pick up some Saturday specials, but then came straight home. Everything was really busy and the heat and humidity makes it nasty outside.

Dave, thanks Which holdiay is coming up? Oh, Independence Day? I keep on forgetting about that.
And the more trouble I have the more I really appreciate little things like walking somewhere.
I have been trying meditation over the last two weeks. Does anyone here have any experience with that?

And Dave, you have a meal plan for a whole month? How awesome!
How do you go about it?

Chris, they are looking for exactly these kinds of things at the moment but all they keep in telling me is that I am very special and they have no category yet (And yes, I said that I am special and not my disease on purpose )

How hot is it at the moment? Here we have around 26°C/78°F and a lovely wind. Perfect balcony weather again

Sarah, just did some cleaning too Ever since I got rid of so much stuff this has become way easier Happy cleaning!

Tracey Thanks. This really has been going on long enough... Bin on crutches for six months now. But at least they are really looking now. Before everyone kind of gave me the feeling it was all in my head. So I call that progress

So people, does anyone have any nice plans for the summer? Tell me all about it so I can live vicariously through you

yup...I've taken medication before...not trial and error... it's prescribed by Dr.

single monthly meal plans are easy to write. Just write what you normally eat during a given month, how many meals it will last you and how much you think or know will you spend on it within your monthly food budget.

example- hot dogs 3 days in month $2, pasta $3, 3 days, frozen chick parmesan family dinner $3...and so on

this saves money and reduces impulse spending

Dave - good for you for being so organized. I try to plan meals a few days ahead, but I'd never be able to stick to a monthly schedule.

Kia - it must be very frustrating for you. I've had experience with it taking time to get a proper diagnosis. I've not tried meditation. Massage did help my sciatica issues.

Today's forecast is for 33C/91F, with a humidex of 39. Low 30's/ 88F are predicted right up to the end of the week.

I hope it works out for you.

Another blistering hot day here. Hopefully it will cool down a bit for tonight.

Oh, happy Canada Day

Dave, do you buy frozen fruits and vegetables or fresh every week?

Chris, glad massage helped! I never thought meditation was for me but the last two weeks it really kind of gave me a new perspective I'm trying to stick with it and see where it leads me... would also enjoy a good massage though

And I agree, that is definitely too hot
