Long night overnight at work, not as much computer time as I thought since they were in the office a good portion of the time trying to get the new cashes up, bit did get plenty done. Had I brought my laptop time might have passed quicker.

Yeah, I should probably stop slacking on my gift wrapping... still waiting for one of my presents from amazon to get here.

We've celebrated Christmas with sis and her family for the past ... 20 years. Three years ago my niece decided she wanted to take over hosting because she didn't want to travel at Christmas with children. Fair enough, I felt the same way when my son was young. Called sis last night to update her about an appointment for mom. And oh, by the way, you're not invited to Christmas at Amanda's. Her father and stepmother are coming and bringing her step sister and her boyfriend. Her in-laws are usually in Florida for Christmas, but they decided to stay home this year, so they'll be there along with her sister-in-law and family. So with her brothers and sister and their significant others, they're up to 24 people without us, and if she invites her aunt & family, then her hubby wants to invite his aunt and uncle - which is fair because most of the people coming are her extended family, but it's just too much. Which I can understand, but waiting until 2 weeks before Christmas to tell me? That's just mean-spirited.
