Seems everybody else knows the fierce loyalty Odo and Kira have for each other.

Garak, for instance. In "When It Rains" after Kira is baited and very nearly attacks Rusot, Odo immediately jumps to her side and is there to bring Kira's temper back from the edge by using a soothing tone, which is something that ONLY Odo could have done. You see her recognize his voice even through her fury and she's able to walk out of the stand-off. Odo, for a moment, gets in Rusot's face and glares at him, as if to say, "I know what you were trying to do ... and it better not happen again." After Odo walks away to follow Kira, Garak turns to Rusot and says, with full meaning, "You don't know how lucky you are. She would have KILLED you."

Talk about the station's true power couple .

I actually loved that scene in "When it rains?" Especially Garak's line to Rusot! LOL!

That was awesome. One moment when Kira's love for Odo is definitely made clear, quite bluntly, to Garak is when Garak thinks he's letting Kira in on a secret regarding Odo's deteriorating health. Kira cuts him off with, "I know. I love him, Garak. You think I really wouldn't notice?" Stunned, Garak asks her, "Why the pretense?" And Kira goes on to say, "I also know that he doesn't want me to find out about it. He wants to protect me from the truth, so fine. I will go on pretending that I don't know until the very end."

One of my favorite scenes ....




I remember being thrilled that we got such an intimate scene like this ... where we see them, in private, as a couple and how they interact when not on duty. It also showed that they have a tender domestic life and it can be assumed that, at this point, they're already living together.

Love this scene! Especially given what happens later on with them ... showing that Odo did ultimately WIN his perfect mate! And as for the part about Odo sleeping in a bed, I suspect that there was plenty of that too .

Just another day at the office. Odo watching his girlfriend stare down/bluff the Romulans AND Admiral Ross into surrendering, and getting what she wanted in the process (the Romulans leaving Durna). You can tell when it was over he was even MORE impressed. As if to say, "I knew she was good ... but whoa."

Love that proud little grin on Odo's face when Ross tells Kira that it was SHE who changed his mind about supporting the Romulan position.

Kira turned her man into an adrenaline junkie too . I mean, first he kisses her right there on the Promenade in front of everybody. Then, when she's about ready to pull off a risky blockade, he tells her, "I'll be there with you." He will be there during every moment of that blockade, no matter what. He knows that it might very well mean his own death, but losing Kira for him would be a fate worse than death anyway so he'd rather die by her side. He has the memory of Gaia Odo's devastation of Kira's death, so he knows what it feels like to lose her and he doesn't want that life again ... not since they're now a couple. For him, dying with Kira is worse than eternity without her. Plus, he's already keenly aware that she has a shorter lifespan anyway - so if she's going to die at this point, then for him he's happy to be with her and fully supporting her.

Bonus during that ep: O/K flirting on the bridge ("Kiss Me Deadly" scene).
