I'd love to see a new Trek series on the air.

How would you like it to return? With cast of the film, bring back one of the other series or a totally new addition to the franchise?

I think that option would be most likely to satisfy most fans.

What do you think?

I think if you could afford the cast of the film, I think that would be my preferred option...

Money might be an issue. Several of the actors are doing well on the big screen, and Karl Urban will have a new series on tv this fall.

I think that is a massive drawback. Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban- I mean they won't come cheap, and on top of that, you'd want to make the special effects etc pretty spectacular which also will be on the pricey side. But if you get round that, I think that would be the best option imo. Having said that, would you rather continue it as a film franchise? Do you think weekly 13 30-45 minute episodes format would work better or would continuing the film franchise be a better option?

Personally, I'd like to see the film franchise continue. I'm not sure how well the films would do in the theatre if we were routinely seeing the same actors/characters in our livingrooms on a weekly basis.

What do you think?

I've been giving this a lot of thought... And I'm still not sure! I think I'd rather the films continue, but to see it on a weekly basis... I generally prefer TV to films, because you can build a genuine connection and attachment to characters that you can't in a 90 minute film. For instance, lead character of a 90 minute film dies, and I'm like 'okay. Kinda sad, but nothing more' whereas if the lead character dies at the end of the season of 13 or 24 episodes, it bothers me a lot more, as I feel I know that character and been through so much with them, it saddens me. I feel their pain, as I've spent longer with them than the 90 minute film character. So I'm really not sure- it seems to really suit the film format, but I generally prefer TV...

Personally, I'd switch them around a bit.

It's great to see them all in the top 15.

I'll put this here since it involves William Shatner and Simon Pegg.

Star Wars vs. Star Trek: Carrie Fisher Choking William Shatner, For Some Reason

Did anybody watch Intelligence last night? John Bllingsley/Phlox was on it.
