I really want to watch The Captains, too. I missed it when it aired live. It must be a unique bond they have to be Star Trek captains.

From the clips I've seen, they all had different unique experiences of being the Captain..

Though I think most of them had no real idea what the role they were taking on meant, being a part of Star Trek.

Yes, you probably can't know what's gonna hit you for real before it actually hits you

ETA found this on the first page of this thread http://www.ejge.com/People/janeway.htm A lot of nonsense, but someof it quite entertaining

Quote:
6. Keeps her First Officer properly in the dark.

11. Voyager needs a female Captain. Its Captain must be willing to admit they're lost and pull over for directions.

14. Gives guilt trips that would make a Jewish mother proud.

52. Doesn't need her first officer's permission to blow up her ship.

71. Riker never smiled at Picard that way.

I'd have to agree with that. I seen an interview with somebody recently, Robert Picardo maybe, that as soon as you're cast, the offers for appearances and conventions start pouring in.

Just watched a few vids of the D'Con last year. Incredible that they still have panels after all these years Mulgrew couldn't decide whether she wanted to laugh or cry with all the nonsense Robert Duncan Mcneill and Garrett Wang were up to

It really would be nice to go to a convention. I just don't see it happening
