Hey Michael, welcome back!

Sounds like a nice way to pass a Monday evening. Except I have to be to work for 6 am on Tuesdays, so ...

I only vaguely remember that episode. Hubby enjoyed it. He found Hoshi more ... appealing than T'Pol.

Maria - I didn't particularly care for the Xindi storyline either. If you can catch some later season 4 episodes, I think you'd enjoy them.

MINEFIELD, DEAD STOP ,A NIGHT IN SICKBAY and MARAUDERS air tonight on the Sci-fi channel.

A Night in Sickbay was one of the episodes I watched back was it was airing on UPN. I was worried about Porthos and thought he had a much bigger role on the show and was in danger all the time. It made me not pay attention to the show.

I enjoyed 'A Night in Sickbay'. I think 'Minefield' was a decent episode too.

Was minefield the one where Malcolm had to try to deactivate a bomb attached to the hull?

Yes, I think so. As I remember Malcolm was injured in the process. At the time I wondered if he was going to go the way of Tasha ...

He has good taste. Not that T'Pol isn't appealing in her own way, of course, but Hoshi is my favorite Trek woman after Ezri. I like seeing how people adapt and manage to a difficult situation, rather than always just being at home right away wherever they are.

Welcome back. Haven't seen you around here for a while.

Glad you think so. For the most part I'd agree that hubby has good taste.

I didn't like Hoshi much at first, but she grew on me. It was interesting to see her conquer her fears, and considering they were the first humans on an extended mission, I suppose it was realistic to show us that aspect. I think her character had the most growth and development over the series.

I could identify with Hoshi wanting to go home.

Remember the episode where she wanted to switch quarters because the 'stars were going backwards' out of her window ... or something like that.

I think I do remember that.

Sci-Fi channel airs these episodes tonight.

THE SEVENTH , THE COMMUNICATOR ,SINGULARITY , VANISHING POINT

The Seventh:
T'Pol is dispatched by the Vulcan High Command to capture a fugitive that has eluded their authorities for nearly two decades.

The Communicator:
Reed and Archer retrieve a communicator left behind on an alien planet, but are captured in the process.

Singularity:
On a "typical" day on Enterprise, the crew finds their routine tasks turn into uncharacteristically strange obsessions over trivial matters.

Vanishing Point:
Following her first experience in the transporter, a series of eerie events leads Hoshi to question whether she is the same person.

I enjoyed 'The Communicator' and thought it was time they devoted an episode to the consequences of inadvertently leaving something behind.

Vanishing Point is a good one too. I think I'd feel a little scrambled after having been in the transporter.

It was a good idea for an episode, but to me it seemed boring.

I don't really remember this one.

I think this is one of the better episodes of the season.

Really? I found that one a little odd. The bit about Trip & Archer obsessing about the captain's chair ... Although is this the episode where Reed establishes the ship alert system?

I liked seeing everyone obsessed about something.

Maybe it hit too close to home for me ... hubby is a tad obsessive complusive. Has to triple and quadruple check that the light switch to his basement is turned out ... it's pitch black down there! Rather obvious that the light is out. Or triple check that the car hood is latched tight ... even after we've just got home from a 3 hour drive.
