Agree that I wasn't overly impressed with the explanation for the change in Klingons, but at least they tried to address it.

When the show aired I watched a couple episodes in the middle or end of the first season. I only watched Enterprise a couple months ago after seeing some of the discussion in this thread. (So I could post opinions supported by something approaching knowledge. )

My cable got turned off in 2002 so much of the show I ever got to see. Im just now at the point where I am willing to take the dive and jump right in with the series. Thank goodness for the home video market!

With spring and nicer weather it's harder to justify vegging out in front of the tv to relax.

Honestly, it's been years since I seen it. As I remember, I enjoyed it.

Myself, I am not sure having a Klingon in the pilot episode was a good idea. Since the Klingons and Federation were enemies and fought a war shortly before TOS started, it might have been better to introduce the Klingons later. Perhaps in the second or third season. At least, that is the way I see it. If I had written the series, I would have focused the first season mainly on the human, Vulcan, Andorian, other (?) races in the near vicinity, with a little exploration and no ridiculous Temporal War. I would have preferred to see the show develop more details about life on Earth than a single ship's crew caught up in a time-travelling war.
