I seen this episode and enjoyed it, though it sucks to have lost all that information. They really need a "recycling bin" to recover all that data.
I was beginning to think this was a repeat when I seen the start of the show, then got a surprise after that. I'd like to learn more about that equipement from the future/past though, maybe a little more time we'll learn some more. __________________

I didn't get a chance to see or tape the episode! The t.v. and v.c.r. went kaput just as it was starting! Hopefully the problem will be fixed by Sunday.

I've got it taped. Hopefully I'll be able to watch tonight.

I wasn't impressed with the episode. The ruse about the transporter was cute, but it was too predictable. I didn't believe the storyline of the couple who were defecting from the religious fanatics nor did I care for their cause or feel anything toward the leader.
We wait all this time for a new episode and I wish they'd send this one back into the ocean. |

I liked this episode. I wanted Archer to pick the leader since he was now apart of the "crew". Didn't happen. Oh well.
I found it really freaky that this episode aired when it did. I get Enterprise on Wednesday evenings, and earlier that day, my dad and I were watching the first Star Trek, and the same thing happened on that episode! Talk about freaky. Kirk picked up some people from another planet, saving them, then they take over the ship! I know it's happened in almost all the shows, but I found it really freaky that it aired the same time that Enterprise did. __________________

Never trust religious zealots. They always try to take over your ship.

I found this eppy had a slight 'I've seen this before' vibe. And the ending was rather preachy.
I liked the transporter ruse. I wonder how long before they're using the transporter for humans on a regular basis.? The scene where Phlox released the bat in sickbay was kinda funny. __________________

You know, there's a reason why tape back ups are still in use. Maybe they should invest in one while they're in the expance.

I too enjoyed this eppy.
Having never seen the Original Series or anything, this eppy didn't feel repeat-ish or anything at all. I thoroughly enjoyed the Death Ruse It seriously had me laughing. Cute indeed, and not at all predictable. I was expecting him to feign death by being put in a shuttle pod or cannister or whatever, or given a sedative. I really didn't care for the couple who defected, nor their leader, but it was ok. None of them annoyed me. But like Chirs, Archer's spill at the end was a bit too fabricated or something for me. Overall, I was ecstatic to have a new episode and really enjoyed it. __________________

Yay! I finally got to see it and tape it.
I think that all of that information that he erased is still there somewhere on backup. If there's one thing that we have learned in our infancy of computers (in the here and now) is to BACK UP EVERYTHING THAT IS IMPORTANT! Personally... I would have killed that freak! |

Yeah, but that's edgy and controversial.
You know Rick Berman hates to be edgy. He doesn't want to deal with topics like that. __________________
