Request Regulars/Off Topic #209 - rain, rain go away

Rainy day here. It figures because I've got to take mom to the doctor.

How is everybody today?

I'm okay. Sunny but cold here.

Hope the appointment goes well!

Well Spring came and went its way again

It's rainy season now it seems, but oh well, at least I can watch TV without a bad conscience.

First I finish Voyager...only 5 episodes to go and I have watched it all (again).
Then the same for TNG...half a dozen or so episodes left of series 7.

And then finally....I'll watch Discovery. With series 2 only coming in 2019! I can finish Discovery and put it behind me, I doubt I will watch series 2 before the show is finally cancelled which probably will be after series 2 I guess. Or maybe they'll do another one in 2022 for Pete's sake

Game of Thrones has over a year between it's last season and the new season before it comes back too.

ETA: Speaking of the thread title... we're still getting more snow than rain here...

True. These rainy days will give me an excuse to clean up my DVR.

Johnnie - yikes. The forecast says it might snow again on the weekend here, but I don't want to think about that.

Kia - are you feeling better?

Tracey - how are you today?

As to mom's appointment yesterday, when I went to pick her up from her residence, she wasn't ready to go. The staff there is usually really good, and they apologized for the mix up. Then at the doctor's office, I had mom sit down while I went to register her. The receptionist just seen me, and assumed it was my appointment even though I had said it was for mom and had mom's health card out. So she's telling me that I don't have an appointment, which was true, and offered to call the nurse to try and squeeze me in. The nurse set her straight that there was an appointment for mom. After that, it all went well. Had a nice lunch with mom afterwards.

I need to provide theme music for this thread. It's a great song!

ETA Sorry, Chris It took me so long to get the youtube video right (I don't do that often enough) that I only now saw your post.

What a mix up but it sounds like it was a good day all in all

I'm feeling a bit better. More doctor's appointments going to come. We'll see

I just had really lovely Indian Dal
Feel like something sweet now but I don't think there's anything in the house...

What are you up to now?

Rain songs are better than snow songs.

Thanks for the music Kia.

Tracey - glad that you're starting to feel better.

Thinking about it being Easter weekend has put chocolate on my brain.

Happy Easter Weekend guys

Wow.... last night was the FULLEST night of TV ever for as long as I can remember. This created todays half a day time spent watching Replays from Thursday night. Oh, and Opening Day of Baseball was Yesterday too...and thats always a Sports Holiday for me.

So here it goes
Watched Live: Espn baseball [while exercising], Arrow

Replay todays Gotham 42 min,
Will and Grace 21,
Young Sheldon 21,
Supernatural [Scooby Doo] which I will watch right after this Post,
Siren Epps 1 &2, 45 minutes each,
AND Station 19, 42 min which I still need to watch.

Thank goodness for TV replay sites and DVRs

OK.. gonna watch Supernatural now...I've never seen the show...but this might be the first time Scooby has appeared on a prime time tv show

BTW Chris
I love Snow songs better than Rain songs... Baby It's Cold Outside, Winter Wonderland, Let it Snow, White Christmas, Do yOu Wanna Build a Snowman, and there might be a few more that I can't think of ATM
