More about the Gorn would be good. I found the Andorrians intriguing, although we did get a bit more about them on Enterprise.

They could finally feature both of them. I mean I like the classic races too. But I'm a little bit fed up with a trek universe consisting mostly of klingons and romulans these days.

Klingons and Romulans have been featured in the other series, so it would be nice to see something different.

We also haven't seen much about the Tellarites.

Would also be interesting to see earlier encounters with species that were common knowledge in the TNG era - like Betazoids an El Aurians for example. I'd also like to see the planet Trill in an earlier time.

And I hope to see some interesting new characters as well and not just DIS- and TOS-characters.

^ yeah some of those might be interesting too. Or early encounters with the cardassians or bajor prior to the cardassian rule there.

I'd love to see their first encounter with Betazed! And when they first met the Trill. I don't think we have had much background on either of them.

Nope we hadn't, so that would be an option. But first encounter with the gorn or the cardassians would also be nice.

I'll be happy if they give us something different than Klingons & Romulans. Although a tiny little part of me is curious as to how their version of Klingons would look. That species really changes from show to show.

I assume they'd look like on discovery.

I would hope so, but each show seems to want to fiddle with the look of the Klingons.

But this one is produced by the producers of discovery.

You've got a point there. He's already had his poke at them.
